This policy explains how cancellation and refunds work for GetGroceryPOS, operated by SOHOON Technologies. It is part of our Terms of Service. Prices for every plan and country are on our Pricing page.
Start with the free trial
Every new store gets a 14-day free trial with no payment card. We would rather you find out in the trial whether GetGroceryPOS fits your store than ask for a refund later. If you want help testing your products, scale labels or receipts during the trial, book a demo.
No minimum contract
There is no minimum contract on any plan. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. When you cancel:
- Your subscription stops renewing.
- You keep full use of the Service until the end of the period you already paid for.
- You can export your data for 30 days after the end of your subscription. After that it is deleted.
Monthly plans
- You are billed at the start of each month.
- If you cancel, the Service continues until the end of that month.
- We do not refund partial months. Cancelling halfway through a month does not return the unused days.
- If you were charged after you had already cancelled, because of a mistake on our side, we refund that charge in full.
Annual plans
- Within 30 days of your first annual payment: if GetGroceryPOS is not right for your store, cancel and we refund the full annual payment.
- After 30 days: you can still cancel. We refund the unused full months of your annual term, worked out at the annual monthly rate. The month you cancel in is not refunded, and the Service continues until the end of it.
- Renewals of an annual plan: the 30-day full refund applies to the first annual payment only. For later renewals, the unused-full-months rule applies from the renewal date.
Extra registers
Extra registers follow the same rules as your plan. If you remove a register, the change applies from your next billing period. On annual plans, unused full months for a removed register are refunded when you cancel.
Managed grocery website
- Setup fee: refundable in full until our design work starts. We tell you before we start, usually after we receive your content and confirm the plan with you. Once design work has started, the setup fee is not refundable.
- Monthly website fee: follows the monthly rules above. On annual billing, it follows the annual rules.
- If you cancel the website: we can give you your content and, where possible, a copy of the site files. Your domain name stays yours.
Store Bundle
The Store Bundle combines the Market POS plan, the managed website and a marketing snapshot for HighLevel.
- The bundle’s monthly or annual fee follows the same refund rules as the plan you pay for.
- The website setup fee is waived in the bundle, so there is nothing to refund there.
- HighLevel’s own subscription is billed by HighLevel, not by us. Refunds for it are handled under HighLevel’s terms.
- If you leave the bundle but keep one part (for example only the POS), we move you to that part’s regular price from the next billing period.
Switching help
Importing your products from your old POS is free on every plan, so there is no fee to refund.
Hardware
We do not sell hardware. Printers, scanners, scales, cash drawers, tablets and card readers are bought from the seller of your choice, and their return policies apply. Our Hardware guide explains what works.
Payment processing and EBT fees
Fees charged by your card processor or EBT processor are under your agreement with them. We cannot refund them.
Taxes
Refunds include the matching sales tax or VAT that was charged, where the law allows. In the UAE, refunds are made with the 5% VAT included in the original price. In Pakistan and the US, any tax added at checkout is refunded with the amount it was charged on.
How to ask for a refund
Use the form on our Contact page and choose your store name and the plan. Tell us why if you are happy to; it helps us improve. We confirm within 2 business days and send approved refunds to the original payment method. Banks and card companies usually take 5 to 10 business days to show the money in your account.
Your legal rights
This policy does not take away any rights you have under the consumer or business laws of your country. Where the law gives you a stronger right to cancel or get a refund, that right applies.
